Redding Lukas Munsell (born August 25, 2015) started his acting career when he won the International Presentation of Performers (iPOP!) Child Actor of the Year Award in 2022 at the age of six, along with 11 other medals, including 8-1st place medals in acting, modeling, print, runway, and 3rd Place iPOP! Child Model of the Year Award.

Redding feels at home on set working in commercials and films, including his most recent role-playing Felix in the feature film At The Sea with six-time Oscar Nominated actress Amy Adams, Murray Bartlett, Chloe East, Jenny Slate, Dan Levy, Rainn Wilson, Brett Goldstein, Henry Eikenberry directed by Kornél Mundruczó and written by Kata Wéber. Redding also played the lead role, Jake, in the short film Red, White, and Blue, directed, produced, and written by Nazrin Choudhury, alongside lead Brittany Snow and Juliet Donenfeld. The film was nominated for the 96th Academy Awards for Best Live Action Short Film.

FIRST-EVER IPOP ALUMNI AWARD 2024

Redding Munsell won the first-ever IPOP International Presentation of Performers (iPOP!) Alumni Award in July 2024 for his overall achievement in film, television, and commercials in the two years since attending IPOP in July 2022.

Redding recently had the privilege of booking a large supporting role in the feature film At The Sea, directed by Kornel Mundruczo and written by Kata Weber, with six-time Oscar Nominated actress Amy Adams, Murry Bartlett, Chloe East, Jenny Slate, Brett Goldstein, Rainn Wilson, Dan Levy, and Henry Eikenberry.

Project Plot Summary: After rehab, a woman returns to her family's beach home, readjusting to her old life without the career that gave her identity. She faces her next chapter, forced to move on.

Redding Munsell Joins ‘The Young and The Restless’ As Recast Harrison Abbott

Redding Munsell is taking over the role of Harrison Abbott on "The Young and the Restless," replacing Kellen Enriquez. Munsell first airs on Friday, April 12.

RED, WHITE, AND BLUE

Redding recently played the lead role of Jake in the short film Red, White, and Blue, directed, produced, and written by Nazrin Choudhury, alongside lead Brittany Snow and Juliet Donenfeld. The film has recently been nominated for the 96th Academy Awards for Best Live Action Short Film. In September, the film took home the Grand Jury Award for Best Live Action Short from the Edmonton International Film Festival, which qualified Red, White, and Blue for the 96th Annual Academy Awards. The film also won the New York City Dances with Films Industry Choice Awards. Red, White, and Blue has also been shown at the Hawai’i International Film Festival and is short-listed for the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia.

HURRICANNA

Redding also recently filmed as young Daniel (Anna Nicole Smith’s young son) in the feature film Hurricanna, directed by Francesca Gregorini and written by Rachel and Matt Sarnoff, alongside Sylvia Hoeks. The film also features Holly Hunter and Mark Duplass. The film is currently in post-production.
