Redding Munsell
Redding Lukas Munsell (born August 25, 2015) started his acting career when he won the International Presentation of Performers (iPOP!) Child Actor of the Year Award in 2022 at the age of six, along with 11 other medals, including 8-1st place medals in acting, modeling, print, runway, and 3rd Place iPOP! Child Model of the Year Award.
Redding feels at home on set working in commercials and films, including his most recent role-playing Felix in the feature film At The Sea with Amy Adams, Murray Bartlett, Chloe East, Jenny Slate, Dan Levy, Rainn Wilson, Brett Goldstein, Henry Eikenberry directed by Kornél Mundruczó and written by Kata Wéber. Redding also played the lead role, Jake, in the short film Red, White, and Blue, directed, produced, and written by Nazrin Choudhury, alongside lead Brittany Snow and Juliet Donenfeld. The film was nominated for the 96th Academy Awards for Best Live Action Short Film.
Redding has had the opportunity to work and train with many of the industry’s finest actors, casting directors, and directors, including actors Amy Adams, Brittany Snow, Jud Tylor, Judy Kain, Connor Weil, Hannah Kat Jones, Juliet Donenfeld, Jareb Dauplaise, Robert Vito, Gabe Fonseca, Alyssa Reichel, casting directors Craig Campobasso, and directors Kornel Mundruczo, Nazrin Choudhury, Liam White, Billy Jackson, Mathew Michael Ross, and many more. Redding works with his acting coaches often to perfect his skills and grow. Thanks to MGMT Artists and NYLA Talent’s fantastic team, coaches, and guidance, Redding has had an incredible jump start in his acting journey.
Redding ranks in the 99th percentile for his academic grade nationally, reads at a 7th-grade level, and memorizes quickly.
Redding expressed his love of writing and helping others by publishing his first children’s book, “Furious Flowers of Doom.” He wrote the book to inspire kids everywhere to believe in themselves and realize that they are perfect just the way they are. Redding’s goal is to one day write, act, and direct his very own feature film.
Along with his passions for writing, Redding is always the center of the dance circle, likes telling knock-knock jokes, and loves volunteering in his community. He also enjoys piano/voice lessons, football, basketball, soccer, snowboarding, golf, and exploring nature anywhere he can.
Redding enjoys making people smile and laugh and loves expressing himself through acting. He is incredibly grateful for all the amazing experiences and support he's received on set. Redding always invests his whole heart into every project. He aspires to be in a movie with Tom Holland, aka Spider-Man. With his love of life, creativity, and curiosity for learning, Redding is always prepared for the next adventure!
